Kim Gibbens
President

Kim has significant experience with the needs of visually impaired adults and the specific issues surrounding the challenges faced by impaired people in obtaining adequate, reliable and affordable transportation services. She is executive director of the San Diego Center for the Blind and an employee of that agency for 33 years. She has held numerous state and national positions on association boards and commissions that advocate on behalf of visually impaired adults.

 

Barbara Workman
Secretary

Barbara is a community leader in Clairemont, serving a variety of organizations including the Clairemont Town Council, PTA, Camp Fire and her church. Barbara was an early supporter of ITN and submitted the first application from San Diego to become an affiliate. Her professional experience includes maintaining the financial records of a family-owned dental laboratory.

 

Dave Yoshida
Treasurer

Dave Yoshida is CEO of Fortunate Fields, Inc, a small business and nonprofit accounting services firm in San Diego. He founded Fortunate Fields in 2006 after a 14-year career in San Diego's nonprofit community. Dave earned a Master of Public Administration degree from Rutgers University and is a strong advocate for the inclusion and involvement of all varieties of people in all areas of life.

 

PatRose Calloway
Board Member

PatRose is housing director for Price Charities, a non-profit foundation located in San Diego. She is charged with the management of a first-time homebuyer program designed to stem blight and increase homeownership in the redevelopment community of City Heights. PatRose is a graduate Guilford College, Greensboro, NC, and Columbia University in New York. Prior work experience includes: U.S. House of Representatives Congressional Aide; Personal Banking Manager, Wells Fargo Bank; Public Relations, United Way of Greater Atlanta; and adjunct professor, Georgia State University, Atlanta. She is a dedicated volunteer and sits on a variety of non-profit boards in San Diego.
